INTRODUCTION

Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Office 2013. This update provides the latest fixes for the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Office 2013.Note This update applies to Office 2013 MSI installations only. This update does not apply to click-to-run installations.

Issue that this update fixes

Consider the following scenario:

  • You enable one of the East Asian language keyboard layouts in Windows.

  • You change the DPI setting to 125 percent.

  • You open the Options dialog box in Microsoft Word 2013 or Microsoft PowerPoint 2013.

In this scenario, the wrong icon is displayed in the Typography pane.

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.

  2. Type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.

  3. Use one of the following procedures, depending on the operating system that you are running.

    • Windows 7 and Windows Vista

      1. Click View installed updates.

      2. In the list of updates, locate and click update 2727009, and then click Uninstall.

    • Windows XP

      1. Click to select the Show updates check box.

      2. In the list of updates, locate and click update 2727009, and then click Remove.
