INTRODUCTION
Issues that this hotfix package fixes
-
You cannot download an offline address book that is larger than 2 GB in Outlook 2007.
-
When several reminders are set in Outlook 2007, and then you dismiss all the reminders, some reminders are not removed as expected.
-
When you use Outlook 2007 in online mode to search for items in your archive mailbox, you cannot preview any of the items in the search results in the preview pane. Additionally, you receive the following error message in the preview pane:
This item cannot be display in the reading pane. Open the item to read its content.
-
Assume that you have limited permissions on another user’s mailbox. When you perform an advanced search in that user's shared folder in Outlook 2007, the search results do not comply with the search conditions.
-
Consider the following scenario:
-
You open a Rich Text Format (RTF) email message that is in the Drafts folder. The RTF email message is protected by Information Rights Management (IRM).
-
You edit the recipient field in the email message.
-
You try to save the email message.
Microsoft Outlook was not able to create a message with restricted permission.
-
-
When you open an Outlook Template (.oft) file that is saved in RTF in Outlook 2007, the .oft file is opened in HTML format.
-
When you update a shared calendar in Outlook 2007, the updated information is not synchronized with the Exchange server.
-
Consider the following scenario:
-
You create an exception for a series in Outlook 2007.
-
You update the exception and synchronize the updates with the Exchange server.
-
At the same time, another user updates the series and synchronizes the updates with the Exchange server.
-
-
Assume that you receive a MIME encoded email message that contains a Quoted-Printable UTF8 attachment in Outlook 2007. When you open the attachment, the text in the attachment is corrupted.
-
Consider the following scenario:
-
You create a search folder that contains many subfolders in its scope.
-
You change the criteria of the search folder.
The operation failed because of a registry or installation problem. Restart Outlook and try again. If the problem persists, reinstall.
-
-
Assume that you add a public folder to a group schedule that is in another public folder in Outlook 2007. When another user opens the group schedule, the public folder that you added is not visible.
-
Consider the following scenario:
-
You create a recurring meeting that has several attendees in Outlook 2007.
-
You add a Meeting Workspace to the recurring meeting.
-
You remove an attendee from a meeting instance of the recurring meeting.
