This article describes the issue that is fixed in the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 hotfix package that is dated October 30, 2012.

INTRODUCTION

Consider the following scenario:

  • You create a form template in Microsoft InfoPath 2010.

  • You insert a repeating section in the form template.

  • You add a multiple-selection list control to the repeating section.

  • You publish the form template to a SharePoint Server 2010 server.

  • You try to open the form template by using a browser.

In this scenario, you cannot open the form template by using the browser, and you receive the following error message:

An unexpected error has occurred. Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation.

Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Prerequisites
