Resolution
The update to upgrade the preview to the final edition of Office Home and Student 2013 RT might fail. Opening Windows Update from Control Panel shows a failed update with this error:
Code 5052 Windows Update ran into a problem.
First, make sure all Office programs are closed and try again. If the update keeps failing with error 5052, try these steps:

Restart Windows RT.

Open Task Manager.
With touch, swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Search, type Task ManagerĀ in the search box, tap Apps, and then tap Task Manager in results. With mouse, right-click the lower-left corner of the screen and click Task Manager. -
Tap or click More Details.

Tap or click the Details tab.

Find msosync.exe and tap or click it.

Tap or click on End Task.

Start the update again.

Restart Windows RT.

Open Task Scheduler.
With touch, swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Search, type Schedule Tasks in the search box, tap Settings, and then tap Schedule Tasks in results. With mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and click Search. Type Schedule Tasks in the search box, click Settings, and then click Schedule Tasks in results. -
Tap or click Task Scheduler Library on the left.

Look for Microsoft Office 15 Sync Maintenance in the middle. Tap or click to choose it.

Under Selected Item on the right, tap or click Delete.
Repeat steps 4 to 5 if there's more than one Microsoft Office 15 Sync Maintenance entry in the list. -
Try installing the update again.
