Symptoms
Assume that you use Microsoft XML Paper Specification (XPS) Viewer on a computer that is running Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2. When you try to print some XPS files by using XPS Viewer, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
A printing error has occurred. The XPS Viewer cannot print all the pages of this document
Note This issue also occurs when you try to print some PDF files by using the Reader app.
Cause
This issue occurs because the system does not check whether the current font family contains any font names.
Resolution
