RAPID PUBLISHING ARTICLES PROVIDE INFORMATION DIRECTLY FROM WITHIN THE MICROSOFT SUPPORT ORGANIZATION. THE INFORMATION THAT IS CONTAINED HEREIN IS CREATED IN RESPONSE TO EMERGING OR UNIQUE TOPICS, OR IS INTENDED TO SUPPLEMENT OTHER KNOWLEDGE BASE INFORMATION.

Symptoms

When you run an integration in Integration Manager for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0, you may receive some version of the following error message.

Error Message:

DOC 1 ERROR: Wrong number of arguments used with function in query expression '[Amount] <UCase()> UCase('0.00') AND UCase(DocNum) = UCase('100')'.

Resolution

Resolution 1

Check whether you have any special characters within your column headings in the source file. If you do have special characters in the source file column headings remove them, save the source file and then try the integration again.

Resolution 2

Check whether you are using an integration source query row restriction which uses the <> sign. In some cases an integration source query row restriction that uses the sign can cause the UCase error message.

Note You will also want to make sure that you have the latest service pack in for Integration Manager 10.0 also. You can use the following links to install the latest service pack.
