Symptoms
BizTalk Adapter for DB2 provides new 'DateTimeAsXml' boolean setting to specify DB2 DATE or XML DateTime format.
Cause
BizTalk Adapter for DB2 doesn't return DB2 DATE values as DateTime values. It returns "0001-01-01" instead of expected .NET DateTime "0001-01-01 12:00:00 AM" or XML DateTime "0001-01-01T00:00:00".
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for Host Integration Server:
