1. Click Start, type regedit in the search box, and then press ENTER.

2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:

   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

3. Right-click EnableNegotiate, click Modify, select Decimal, and then change the value of the Value data box to 1.

4. Exit Registry Editor.

Prerequisites

To apply this hotfix, you must have Microsoft BizTalk Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Toolkit 2.0 installed.

Restart requirement

You must restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.

Installation instructions

To apply this hotfix, follow these steps:

1. Install the hotfix.
   Note The Microsoft.Practices.ESB.BizTalkOperations.dll file is modified as part of the hotfix at one of the following locations:

   • %systemdrive%:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft BizTalk ESB Toolkit 2.0\Bin

   • %systemdrive%:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk ESB Toolkit 2.0\Bin

2. Install the .dll file in the Global Assembly Cache (GAC).

3. In the Web.config file for the ESB Portal site, search the text for "runtime" and locate the following assemblyBinding entry:

   <runtime>
         <assemblyBinding xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1">
   
         </assemblyBinding>
   </runtime>

   Note If there are no runtime or assemblyBinding entries, create them.

4. Add the following code under the assemblyBinding entry in order to add an entry for assembly redirection:
