Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You use Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) receive pipeline to receive EDI messages in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009 or in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010.
-
There is an EDI message that misses a segment identifier or has a bad segment identifier. For example, the segment ID has an additional line feed (0x0a).
In this scenario, an X12 997 acknowledgement (ACK) message is generated and suspended. Specifically, the X12 997 ACK message contains an invalid value for the AK301 segment.
Cause
This issue occurs because of an error in the EDI receive pipeline.
