Symptoms
Assume that you deploy lots of Business Rule Engine (BRE) rules policies in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013 R2. When you try to refresh BizTalk artifacts under the Application node in BizTalk Server Administration Console, it takes a long time to finish the refresh—for example 2.5 minutes. The console is not usable during the refresh operation.
Cause
The issue occurs because refreshing BizTalk Server artifacts also refreshes BRE rule policies in BizTalk Server 2013 R2. If you have a large number of BRE rules policies deployed it takes a long time to complete the operation.
