When you use Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 to design a large BizTalk map on a computer that has Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013 installed, the vertical scroll bar on the target schema may not work correctly.


This issue occurs because of compatibility issues between the BizTalk mapper component and Visual Studio 2012.

This update is available from Microsoft Update.

Note This update also resolves the issues that are described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) articles:

  • 2832136 FIX: User cannot perform certain database-related operations in BizTalk Server 2013

  • 2832137 FIX: BAM tools cannot be configured in a multi-node BizTalk Server 2013 environment


To apply this update, you must have BizTalk Server 2013 installed.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply the update. However, you must restart the BizTalk host instance after you apply this update.

File information

The global version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
