Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You have a computer that is running Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009, or Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010.
-
You have a BizTalk project that has been deployed. The BizTalk project has an orchestration, and the orchestration has a Construct Message shape.
-
A mapping operation is included in the Construct Message shape. For example, a Transform shape is included in the Construct Message shape.
-
You receive an incoming message that contains some white-space characters.
-
The mapping operation processes the message.
In this scenario, the white-space characters are removed from the output message.
Notes-
This issue occurs even if PreserveWhitespace flag is set to true.
-
This issue does not occur in BizTalk Server 2006 R2 or in BizTalk Server 2009, or in BizTalk Server 2010.
Cause
This issue occurs because of an error in the XLANG engine of BizTalk Server 2006 R2 SP1 or in BizTalk Server 2009 or in BizTalk Server 2010.
