If you use the Office Deployment Tool to install Microsoft Outlook from your Office 365 subscription, the Focused Inbox may be missing. The Show Focused Inbox button doesn’t appear in the ribbon.

This issue is observed in Office Deployment Tool version 16.0.8008.3601.


  1. Uninstall Office 365.

  2. Use the latest version of Office Deployment Tool to install Outlook.
