DengXian (等线 in Chinese) is a typeface designed for typesetting the Chinese language using the Simplified Chinese script. It is a “gothic” style (sans serif) with no contrast between thick and thin strokes but with subtly swelling strokes with flared ends. It is well suited for signage and for titles or headlines, as well as for use in advertising.
DengXian was designed by Beijing Founder Electronics Co.,Ltd. It has three weights, with no italic styles. In addition to Simplified Chinese characters, the font includes Japanese hiragana and katakana, bopomofo, and a variety of symbols, as well as capitals and lowercase letters for the Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic alphabets.
