This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft Excel 2010 hotfix package that is dated June 10, 2014.
Issues that this hotfix package fixes
Assume that you open a Microsoft SharePoint list in Excel 2010. When you edit an existing list item, and then you save the list back to the SharePoint server, the list item is inserted as a new list item to the list.
When you select the Chart Area in a chart on a chart sheet, the formula bar is not disabled. In this situation, when you type inside the formula bar and then you press an arrow key, the Home key, or the End key, Excel may crash.
The sort order is incorrect when you sort the Result list by the Value column in the Find and Replace dialog box.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problems that are described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problems described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.
