This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Office Web Apps hotfix package that is dated August 12, 2014.
Issues that this hotfix package fixes
Assume that you receive an email message, and it has an inline image that was embedded as a link. Now the location where the image is hosted cannot be accessed. In this situation, when you open the email message, Outlook keeps trying to download the image, with a window continually appearing and disappearing.
Assume that you open a document that contains some internal links in Word 2010, and then you save it as a PDF file. When you reopen the Word document, some additional pages are added unexpectedly, and the internal links become incorrect. These issues also occur in the newly created PDF file.
