Changing the brightness and contrast of a video

Adjusting exposure and contrast can make a video look more appealing or ensure it better matches the brightness of other videos you are editing it with.

Step 1. Click on the adjust colors tab

Click on your video in the timeline, so it's highlighted green. The property panel will appear on the right side of your screen. Click on the adjust colors tab.

Step 2. Adjust the color of your video

Using the sliders, move a slider left and right to edit your video's exposure, saturation, temperature, contrast, and opacity. To change the brightness of your video, we recommend using exposure, saturation, and contrast editing features.

Undoing a brightness or contrast change

You can return a video to its original state at any time by selecting it in the timeline, clicking on the adjust color tab, and clicking the reset button. Alternatively, drag and drop the original video into your timeline again from the your media tab.
