  1. Open System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection for Mac. To do this, click the System Center Endpoint Protection for Mac icon in the menu bar, and then click Open System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection.

  2. Click Activate advanced mode.

  3. Click Setup, click Antivirus and antispyware, and then click Disable.

  4. In the pop-up window, click Disable when you are prompted.Note The System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection for Mac icon in the menu bar turns red when real-time protection is disabled.
