This article describes how to display a new company in Business Portal for Microsoft Dynamics GP, for Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains, for Microsoft Dynamics SL, and for Microsoft Business Solutions - Solomon. This article does not describe the changes that are needed for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.

To display a new company in Business Portal, follow these steps.
Note The SQL configuration process affects only the new company databases. The process will not remove customizations or any setup information that is already entered in the other companies.

Put the CD in the CD drive.

If the installation does not start automatically, double-click CDSetup.exe in the CD folder.

In the "Remove or Repair Installation" window, click SQL Configuration.

In the Connection Information window, click to select the type of authentication that you want to use. If you select the Windows Trusted Authentication check box, you will not have to enter any other information. If you select the SQL Authentication check box, enter a SQL Server Login ID and password. Then, click Next.

In the "Ready to Install" window, click Install.
