If your text file contain column names in the first row, make sure to set the argument 'firstRowIsColNames=TRUE' in the function. Also check to verify how the file is delimited. By default the function recognizes data that is 'Tab' and 'Comma' delimited. If you need to use a different delimiter, you can specify that using the 'columnDelimiters' argument.
