INTRODUCTION

In the Collections Management module in Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains, there are several ways to view National Account information. Specifically, there are several dialog boxes and reports that display National Account parent and children information.

You can view National Account information in the following areas of the Collections Management module.

The "Collections Main" dialog box

1.

On the Transactions menu, click Sales , and then click Collections Main .

2.

To view the parent National Account balance, click Extras , click Options , click National Accounts , and then click Single .

3.

To view the consolidated parent and children National Account balance, click Extras , click Options , click National Accounts , and then click Group .

The "Build Query" dialog box

1.

On the Transactions menu, click Sales , and then click Build Query .

2.

Click the Customer tab. In the To and From boxes in the Customer area, enter the customer number range for the parent of the National Account.

3.

To view the consolidated National Account parent and children balance, click to select the Consolidate National Account Activity check box.

4.

To view the individual parent and children account balances, click to clear the Consolidate National Account Activity check box.

Function letters

1.

On the Transactions menu, click Sales , and then click Query Letters .

2.

Click to select the Print Letters check box.

3.

To print a function letter, click to select the Consolidate National Account Activity check box in the Build Query dialog box. The function letter will include the individual parent and children invoices.

Statements

1.

On the Transactions menu, click Sales , and then click Query Letters .

2.

Click to select the Print Statements check box.

3.

To print a statement, click Consolidate National Account in the Print For list in the Print Receivables Statement dialog box. The statement will include the individual parent and children invoices.
