Symptoms
If a webpage contains an iframe and the direction of the iframe content is right-to-left (RTL), the elementFromPoint method may return an incorrect element. This issue occurs if you use F12 developer tools in Internet Explorer or a coded UI test in Visual Studio on a computer that has Internet Explorer 11, Internet Explorer 10, Internet Explorer 9, or Internet Explorer 8.
Resolution
Update information
To resolve this problem, install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To do this, go to Microsoft Update. Additionally, see the technical information about the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer.Note This update was first included in March cumulative security update for Internet Explorer (MS15-018).
