Welcome to the Microsoft Defender beta program. Your participation in this program, testing the beta version of Defender, gives us valuable feedback to continue improving the app.
Important: The Microsoft Defender beta program is available to a limited number of participants. Currently we're only able to accept new beta users on iOS and Android.
Install the beta version of Microsoft Defender

To join the beta program, open https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.scmx (or scan the QR code below) on your Android or click here to install to your Android from the Google Play store on your desktop computer.
Important: Make sure you're signed into the Google Play store with the same Google account that you're enrolled in the Defender Beta program with.

Select Join, and update the app. This will install the beta version of the app.
You can opt out of the beta program at any time by selecting Leave program in the Google Play store.

To join the beta program, open https://testflight.apple.com/join/p7qmu1t6 (or scan the QR code below) on your iPhone which should open the TestFlight app.

Then select Start testing. This will install the beta version of the app.
You can opt out of the beta program at any time by selecting Stop testing in the TestFlight app.
If you're already in the beta program, you can also access the My Defender portal at https://mydefender.microsoft.com by signing in with the Microsoft Account you've used to join the beta program.
Note: The My Defender portal is only available for beta participants in the United States at this time. It will be available to other regions soon.
