Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 or Microsoft SQL Server 2012 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2008 R2 fix or SQL Server 2012 release.
Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You configure a merge replication publication that uses web synchronization on an instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 or on an instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2012.

An article in the publication has a table that contains a calculated column.

You use an update statement to update the value of a column to NULL on the subscriber. The update statement also updates multiple rows of the table.
Note The column whose value is updated to NULL is to the right of the calculated column. -
You run the merge replication.
In this scenario, a non-convergence occurs in which the updated data on the subscriber is not synchronized to the publisher.

To work around this issue, move the calculated column to the end of the table in the article.
