This hotfix also applies to Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Analysis Services (SSAS 2014).
Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You define a SCOPE statement, and you give an assignment to the SCOPE statement in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services (SSAS 2012), SSAS 2008 R2, or SSAS 2014.
-
You run a ClearCache command to clear caches.
-
You run a Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) query.
In this scenario, the assignment is deleted, and a NULL value is returned for the assignment.
