Symptoms
When you create a report server project by using SSDT-BI for Microsoft SQL Server 2014, you discover that you can't use the devenv command-line switches to deploy the solution file. For example, when you try to deploy the solution file by using the following command, the operation fails:
devenv.exe "<File Path>\Reports.sln" /deploy "Release"

Cumulative update information
The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server. And this hotfix is included in the Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools - Business Intelligence for Visual Studio 2013, go to Microsoft Download Center to download Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools - Business Intelligence for Visual Studio 2013.
Each new cumulative update for SQL Server contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous cumulative update. We recommend that you download and install the latest cumulative updates for SQL Server 2014:
