Symptoms

Assume that you apply a filter on an attribute when you add MDS data into a Microsoft Excel worksheet by using the Master Data Services Add-in for Excel. If the attribute uses a list separator character that is not a comma, you may receive an exception that resembles the following:

The fix for this issue is included in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
