Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You use the Master Data Services (MDS) Add-in for Microsoft Excel together with the Business Rules Extension feature (Master Data Services).

  • You create an entity by using the MDS Add-in for Microsoft Excel.

  • You add a free-form attribute to the entity, and then you convert it to a domain-based attribute.

  • You create a business rule that takes a user-defined script as a condition or an action.

In this scenario, the converted attribute is not visible in the attribute list when you set the condition or action.
