Update information

To improve diagnostics for the scenario that is described in the "Symptoms" section, SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 1 (SP1) introduces a new showplan XML attribute, ParameterDataType. This attribute provides the data type information about the parameters for parameterized queries.This update is included in Service Pack 1 for SQL Server 2016.

Each new build for SQL Server 2016 contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous build. We recommend that you install the latest build for SQL Server 2016.
