Symptoms
When you configure an instance of Report Server in SQL Server 2016 Cumulative Update 1 on a Network Load Balancing Cluster, the instance may fall into an endless cycle of trying to unload application domains.
Resolution
The fix for this issue is included in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
Each new cumulative update for SQL Server contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous cumulative update. Check out the latest cumulative updates for SQL Server:
Workaround
To work around this issue, move the instance of Report Server out of the Network Load Balancing Cluster.
