Consider the following scenario:

  • You use Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Reporting Services (SSRS 2016).

  • You add an expand or collapse action to a text box in a SSRS report.

  • You set the CanGrow property of the text box to False.

  • You publish the report to a SSRS report server, and then open it in Internet Explorer.

In this scenario, the text box is missing.

Note This issue doesn't occur when you open the report in other browsers, for example, Microsoft Edge.
