Symptoms

Assume that you use an in-memory online transaction processing (OLTP) database in Microsoft SQL Server 2016. When you run a single query that inserts or updates more than four billion rows of data into or in a memory-optimized table, an "FAC_HK_INTERNAL" internal error is returned.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative updates for SQL Server:

Cumulative Update 5 for SQL Server 2016 RTM

Cumulative Update 4 for SQL Server 2016 SP1
