Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You are using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

  • You create a report that has some bookmarks in it.

  • You export the report to Mine Hypertext Markup Language (MHTML) (Web Archive) format through email subscription.

In this scenario, when you open this report in Microsoft Outlook, you may notice that the bookmarks functionality does not work completely in Outlook.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative updates for SQL Server:

       Cumulative Update 2 for SQL Server 2017

       Cumulative Update 9 for SQL Server 2016 RTM

       Cumulative Update 6 for SQL Server 2016 SP1

       Cumulative Update 8 for SQL Server 2014 SP2
