KB4073045 - FIX: Unexpected memory consumption when TCP protocol connections are used for SQL Server 2017 on Linux

Symptoms

Assume that you use SQL Server 2017 on Linux. When you connect to SQL Server by using the TCP/IP protocol, a handle leak might occur. Over time, this leak can exhaust the handle table or memory, leading to varied and unexpected behavior, such as out-of-memory errors, unable to open new connections, and so on.

Resolution

This fix is included in Cumulative Update 4 for SQL Server 2017.
