Symptoms
Assume that you remove temporary objects such as temporary tables, table variables, or table-valued parameters in SQL Server. In this case, very large PAGELATCH_EX contentions may occur on the sys.sysobjvalues system base table.
Resolution
This fix is included in Cumulative Update 5 for SQL Server 2017.
