Symptoms
Assume that you create a Reporting Action within Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services 2017 (SSAS 2017) cube, then you deploy and process the cube. When you view the related measure in Microsoft Excel, you may notice that the Action and DrillthroughAction features appear in the menu, but the ReportingAction feature does not appear. Also, applications that use MDSCHEMA_ACTIONS rowset to retrieve actions from the cube will not return the Reporting Action.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
