Symptoms
When you copy a file to Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) by using Hadoop File System Task, the performance is not optimal. Specifically, the file content is sent two times, but only one time is necessary. In the worst case, the issue may result in almost two times the execution duration.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
