Symptoms
Assume that you use Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 2 (SP2) Cumulative Update 1 (CU1) or later versions. You may notice that the Master Data Services (MDS) Configuration Manager reports build version of SP2 base (13.0.5026.0) instead of the patch version.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
