Symptoms
When you pull data from the receive location in the BizTalk Adapter for DB2, the following error message occurs, and the data is empty:
The adapter "DB2" raised an error message. Details "There was an error in the Receive location with URI: <FilePath>. Internal message: Specified cast is not valid.".
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for Host Integration Server:
