Lync Phone Edition device restarts constantly

Symptoms

When you use Lync Phone Edition, the telephone device restarts constantly.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install one of the following cumulative updates, as appropriate for the telephone that you use:

• December 2015 cumulative update for Lync Phone Edition for Aastra 6721ip and Aastra 6725ip telephones

• December 2015 cumulative update for Lync Phone Edition for HP 4110 and HP 4120

• December 2015 cumulative update for Lync Phone Edition for Polycom CX500, Polycom CX600 and Polycom CX3000 telephones

• December 2015, Cumulative Update for Lync Phone Edition for Polycom CX700 and LG-Nortel IP Phone 8540
