Improvements and fixes

This update contains improvements and fixes for the following issues:

  • This update adds a new public holiday (Democracy and National Solidarity Day) to the Turkish holiday events in the Outlook holiday file (Outlook.HOL) in Outlook 2016. Meanwhile, this update improves the dates and names of some holiday events in the German, Chinese, Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR holiday groups.

  • This update enables a feature that allows attachments to expand in size in order to display their texts as much as possible.

  • The Bosnia and Herzegovina holiday events were updated in the Outlook holiday file (Outlook.HOL) in Outlook 2016.

  • Assume that you create an email item based on a form in Outlook 2016, and then you set a flag such as a Follow Up flag or a High Importance flag on the item. In this situation, when you close the email item, you aren't prompted for a dialog box to save the item, and the tag isn't saved as expected.

  • You cannot publish forms to an organizational forms library in Outlook 2016.

  • When you print preview a meeting in Outlook 2016, all rooms from the room list are displayed rather than only the room selected.

  • When you respond to a recurring meeting with a single occurrence in Outlook 2016, Outlook 2016 crashes.

  • Some appointments of a user's calendar aren't displayed in the view.

  • When you use a mouse to open a new all-day appointment in Outlook 2016, Outlook 2016 crashes.

  • Fixes an issue that causes the body of an email message to disappear. This issue occurs when you send the email message from Microsoft Excel, and the From field is switched to the secondary account.

  • Group calendar meeting requests aren't sent to the correct resource mailboxes.

  • User experience delays during the Autodiscover process in certain network configurations in Outlook 2016.

  • Modern attachments aren't displayed in recipients' mailboxes.

  • When you accept several meeting requests in Outlook 2016, Outlook 2016 crashes.

  • Assume that you have multiple mail profiles and one is in Disaster Recovery mode. When you start Outlook 2016 by using one of the other profiles, you receive the following error message:Your mailbox has been temporarily moved on Microsoft Exchange server. A temporary mailbox exists, but might not have all of your previous data.

  • When you double-click the All Attendees header in the Scheduling Assistant on a read-only calendar item, Outlook 2016 crashes.

  • When you start Outlook 2016, it hangs at the "Processing" stage on the startup screen. Outlook never fully starts.
