Symptoms
Assume that you use Internet Explorer 10 on a device that is running Windows 8. On the Advanced tab of the Internet Options dialog box, you clear the Play sounds in webpages option. In this situation, all instances of the Media Engine that were created by the browser and the Wwahost.exe process are muted.
For example, you play a media file by using a Windows store media app, such as Xbox Music or Pandora Music. In this situation, the audio output becomes unavailable.Resolution
