Meeting Notes to OneNote stopped working

Last Updated: November 20, 2019

You open a meeting in the Outlook calendar and click the Meeting Notes button on the ribbon.  When you select either option nothing happens, and OneNote does not open.

"Share notes with the meeting"

"Take notes on your own"

This issue occurs after Office updates to Version 1910 (Build 12130.20272) and higher on 32 Bit installs of Office.

This issue is fixed in Version 1910 Build 12130.20400.  Until the fixed build is available please use the workaround below.

The OneNote Team is investigating the issue for a fix.  We will update this topic with the fix version as soon as it is available.

To work around the issue, open OneNote and select Home from the Ribbon.  Choose the option Meeting Details and then select the meeting you need to take notes for.
