Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • In Microsoft Lync 2013 (Microsoft Skype for Business), you use a mouse to scroll down a contact list.

  • You locate a user at the bottom of the list.

  • This user has disabled his contact photo.

  • You press and hold (right-click) the contact to call the user by selecting the Call menu.

In this scenario, you don't see any phone numbers listed for the user unless the user's contact card is explicitly opened.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the November 10, 2015 security update (KB3101496) for Lync 2013 (Skype for Business).

Note Lync 2013 was upgraded to Skype for Business in April 2015.
