This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX for the Italian (it) region.

In the current implementation for Italy, the table's primary key is {TaxBookSection, TransDate}. There is one record for each day. The property OCC (Optimistic Concurrency Control) is switched off for this table. When an invoice is posted, the TaxBookSectionDate.LastRec field is updated by the invoice number, and this blocks other parallel postings until the transaction ends.

Resolution

The changes in the hotfix resolve this issue.

The TaxBookSectionDate.LastRec field is added to the primary key. Instead of updating a single record, an insert is done. This helps to completely remove blockings and utilize multithreaded postings.

Hotfix information

The usual support costs will apply to any additional support questions and issues that do not qualify for the specific update in question.
