Symptoms
Assume that you install the Lync Server 2013 (July 2013) cumulative updates on the Persistent Chat front-end and back-end servers. If you then uninstall the Lync Server 2013 (July 2013) cumulative updates on the Persistent Chat front-end server, the Persistent Chat service or Persistent Chat Compliance service does not start. Additionally, the following event is logged in the Lync Server event logs:
Additionally, the following exception is included with the event:Microsoft.Rtc.Internal.Chat.Server.ServerCommon.Exceptions.StopServerException: Unexpected DB version.
