A platform hotfix is available for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2. The build number of this platform hotfix is 35727.

Platform hotfixes are cumulative, which means that the latest hotfix includes all previously released hotfixes. Therefore, you should always install the latest update rollup.

Note You may have to compile the objects in your database after you apply this hotfix.

This hotfix resolves the following problems:




SQL schema is not always updated with all changes when you make multiple changes to a table.


Best Practices Analyzer does not check for configuration that is required for Single Sign-on with Office 365.


Metadata version is not set during technical upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013.


The Get-NAVTenant cmdlet fails when management port is larger than Int16.MaxValue.


The Export-NAVApplication cmdlet fails on databases with more than one filegroup.


"The value can't be evaluated into type Date" error message when a blank date is returned by the EVALUATE function with format 9 (EVALUATE(<Date/Time/DateTime variable>,'',9);


The Windows client crashes when you start the client and an object that is run during launch is not compiled.


No events are logged in the Application Event Log when you start the NAV Server.


All SPNs are not automatically registered during install.


"Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.BusinessApplication.XMLport<XMLport No.>' already defines a member called <member> with the same parameter types" error message when you run an XMLport after upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2.


"There is a syntax error in a 'Translation Import'. The text is too long" error message when you import translations.


The Windows client crashes when you drill down in a field.


CurrXMLport.FILENAME does not work.


The message that is displayed when you delete a record from a list page is translated incorrectly.


It takes longer than expected to import lots of records from an Excel workbook with RapidStart services.


When the SourceTable property for a page is blank, a SubPage is noneditable.


Time-out message incorrectly asks whether users want to reconnect.


Tabs in navigate pages are aligned incorrectly for right-to-left languages.


When you set a quick filter in a list, the cursor is not positioned on the first record in the list.


Sales and purchase order lines are not save after CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER.


Incorrect data is returned when you filter data that contains the underscore character.


TRANSFERFIELDS function transfers wrong values for some fields.

How to obtain the Microsoft Dynamics NAV hotfix or update files

After you request a Microsoft Dynamics NAV hotfix, a hyperlink will be sent to you in an e-mail.

The e-mail will contain a hyperlink. You can use the hyperlink to download the Microsoft Dynamics NAV hotfix or the update files. When you click the hyperlink, the File Download – Security Warning dialog box opens. Then, you are prompted to run, to save, or to cancel the download.

If you click Run, the files start the download and the extraction process. You must specify a folder for the new files, and then provide the password.

If you click Save, you must specify a path for saving the compressed file. When you open the file that you saved, you are prompted to specify a path for the files.

If you click Cancel, the download process stops.

How to install a Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform hotfix

The Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform hotfixes are made available as single files. To install a Microsoft Dynamics NAV hotfix, you must replace the existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV installation files with the hotfix files. To do this, follow these steps.

Step 1: Replace the files in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server installation

In the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server installation, replace the files by using the hotfix files.
