A platform hotfix is available for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2. The build number of this platform hotfix is 35796.

Platform hotfixes are cumulative, which means that the latest hotfix includes all previously released hotfixes. Therefore, you should always install the latest update rollup.

Note You may have to compile the objects in your database after you apply this hotfix.

This hotfix resolves the following problems:




NAS services do not restart after a SQL restart or failover.


You experience slow performance when you save a report to pdf in the Web client.


Numbers are incorrectly left-aligned when you select Hebrew as language in Windows Regional Settings.


"SCRIPT5029: Array length must be a finite positive integer" error message when you expand a tree view in a page in the Web client.


A datetime filter expression with eq (equal) does not work with Microsoft Dynamics NAV OData web service.


You cannot see which 3 optional tables a limited user has written to when the user receives a permission error because they have exceeded the limit of 3 tables that they can write to. With this hotfix, the 3 optional tables that a limited user has written to will be logged in the Windows Event Log.


You experience slow performance with pages with multiple control add-ins in the Web client.


The Windows client crashes when you open a lookup page that has two fields with the same SourceExpression.


BLOB fields in a record are changed when you change another field in the record.


"'2.' is not a valid date. Page View - <Page Name> - 2. 6. 2013 must close" error message when you open a page which has a subpage that is linked through a Date or DateTime field and Windows Regional Settings are set to Czech Republic.


OData Skiptoken URL does not include the company query string parameter.


Amounts are updated incorrectly when you export an account schedule to an Excel workbook and select the Update Workbook option.

How to obtain the Microsoft Dynamics NAV hotfix or update files

After you request a Microsoft Dynamics NAV hotfix, a hyperlink will be sent to you in an e-mail.

The e-mail will contain a hyperlink. You can use the hyperlink to download the Microsoft Dynamics NAV hotfix or the update files. When you click the hyperlink, the File Download – Security Warning dialog box opens. Then, you are prompted to run, to save, or to cancel the download.

If you click Run, the files start the download and the extraction process. You must specify a folder for the new files, and then provide the password.

If you click Save, you must specify a path for saving the compressed file. When you open the file that you saved, you are prompted to specify a path for the files.

If you click Cancel, the download process stops.

How to install a Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform hotfix

The Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform hotfixes are made available as single files. To install a Microsoft Dynamics NAV hotfix, you must replace the existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV installation files with the hotfix files. To do this, follow these steps.

Step 1: Replace the files in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server installation

In the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server installation, replace the files by using the hotfix files.
