If this error is encountered when running Revolution R Enterprise 7.3 in an LSF cluster, this may be an indication that RRE and/or Platform MPI are not installed on the master node. Revolution R Enterprise and Platform MPI are required components on the master node for RRE job communication with the worker nodes even if the master node is not performing any computational work.
