To determine whether your organization had this update applied, check your Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online version number. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner, and then click About.

Service Update 6 resolves the following issues:

Performance Improvements

The following list details issues whose resolutions improve the speed or functionality of Dynamics.

  • A custom SLA process runs twice when it is triggered only once

  • The Delete button is not visible in a subgrid unless scrolled to the right

Unexpected Behavior

The following list details issues whose resolutions correct actions performed in Dynamics that do not work as intended.

  • The status for a custom SLA is set to cancelled when an existing case is updated

  • Tab order does not select the next field on a form as expected

  • A calculated field on a Business Process Flow becomes editable after saving when it is expected to remain read-only

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.

  • The Email a Link button intermittently stops working in Internet Explorer and Edge browsers

  • Users are unable to track two appointments which are scheduled for the same time

  • Users are unable to Reply, Reply All, or Forward an email created for a custom entity when using the web interface

  • Users are unable to select an option after clicking the ellipsis […] in the ribbon under certain conditions

  • A solution upgrade fails when the solution contains a custom workflow activity which references another workflow

  • Users are unable to send an email message to an unresolved recipient when using the web interface

  • The Convert to Case button for an email is missing under certain conditions

Error Messages, Exceptions, and Failures 

The following list details issues whose resolutions correct actions that produce errors, unhandled exceptions, or system or component failures.

  • An error message occurs when converting an Email to an Opportunity when using the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook

  • A script error occurs when opening a website from the Unified Service Desk

  • “We’re sorry – Your device is currently unsupported” occurs when connecting using the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook

  • “Solution Information: An error has occurred” message occurs intermittently for a custom solutions

  • “No rows could be found for Attribute with id {}” error message when trying to import a solution

  • A script error occurs on a default Email, Appointment, Task, or Phone Call forms under certain conditions
